History

In 1963, our company was started by Clermont Pare, Paul Pomerleau, and Joseph Plante as the Maryland Drywall Company, and incorporated as P&P Contractors, Inc. in 1972.  In nearly 50 years, we have completed over $1,000,000,000 in commercial and institutional projects.  Today, our company is owned and operated by partners Daniel Fautrel, Jim Dixon, and Don Owen.  We are consistently in the ENR “Top 600” Specialty Contractors List.

Our core service area remains Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, but over the years, we have performed work in West Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina and Florida.

Our preferred project size is  $500,000 to $20 Million and we have excelled on many notable projects in our market area, including the Pentagon, Ritz Carlton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, and the Gateway Grand Condominium in Ocean City, MD.
